The Tadpole is a first stage filter designed for wet and dry systems. It has a 5.0mm and 0.9mm dual stainless steel filtration mesh housed in a enclosed casing to prevent biological growth and insect breeding (mosquitoes) No need to clean leaves and debris from basket type rainheads.

Q: What is a wet system?
A: The Tadpole filter is designed for use in both wet and dry systems. In wet systems, water remains in the pipes even during periods without rainfall. (See diagram below)
Downpipes connect into the the main inlet pipe, which runs into the tank.
A separate overflow fitting is not required as an overflow is integrated into the
Wet Frog filter.
All downpipes must also have a filtration device fitted which must have a maximum aperture of 0.9mm and be mounted above tank overflow level.
